We walk into class this morning and Mr. Sands is all like, "Grab you a cup. Sit down. Watch. Listen. Fill up your cup with dirt and sprinkle some of these seeds in it. Then go back to your seats." I knew there was a method to his madness. There was. We were to draw the cups of dirt over a period of time and watch the seeds grow. Today, for a warm-up, Mrs. Rossi brought in her dog, Da Vinci. Our class went over to her's for 15 minutes. The challenge: draw her dog while she paced back and forth, sat down, stood up, wagged her tail, stuck out her tongue, and didn't sit still at ALL. I think I got a pretty good illustration done.
